Kelly’s Story

I was diagnosed with breast cancer in August at age 37- with 2 daughters about to turn 6 and 2. I am a school social worker. I have had two surgeries, just finished chemo, and am going to be starting radiation in a month, then anti-hormone meds for the next 5-7 years.

Hardest part for me is my kids- not being able to play with them, being too tired, so many days off of work…I pray this is just a blip in my kids lives and not a defining trauma!
