Brianna’s Story

My name is Briana and I’m a 34-year-old mom of four. I was recently diagnosed with Stage 3 Er/Pr+ Invasive lobular carcinoma and have been struggling with complications from my mastectomy, including losing one of my expanders due to an infection. More than anything, I’m battling accepting the way my chest now looks and am worried about how these complications could impact my reconstruction. I’m not in a position to spend extra money at the moment, but I love self-pampering, doing my own nails and feeling cozy! I’m excited about receiving my Boxed by an Angel gift to make me feel a little better when I look in the mirror.
