Theresa’s Story

Hi, I am Theresa. At the age of 30, I was diagnosed with breast cancer. This news hit me just one month after my dad passed away, making it the toughest challenge I've faced. Fortunately, I found excellent doctors at MD Anderson who guided me through chemo as part of a clinical trial, followed by surgery.

Unfortunately, the surgery results showed evidence of remaining disease. Last month, I underwent three different treatments simultaneously: radiation, hormone therapy, and adjuvant chemotherapy.

I've completed radiation, but there's still chemo and hormone therapy ahead. Thankfully, I'm feeling better now, both mentally and physically. :)
