Tawney’s Story

My name is Tawny. I was diagnosed at the age of 39 with breast cancer in my right breast, I am 45 now. I am 6 years into this journey.  

Surgeries, chemotherapy, medications, side effects and more surgeries—I am facing this journey head on. But, I wouldn't be able to  without the help of my breast cancer community. You see my community helps me and gives me strength, without them I'd be lost. I go through this journey day by day and often tell myself, it’s just a hiccup!

Waiting for the day I can say, I'm in remission!
