Brittany K’s Story

Hi, my name is Brittany.

In November 2022, my husband and I were pregnant after 2 miscarriages. We were previous foster parents and found out our foster kids were coming back to us to be adopted! The kids moved in, and the day after I went into labor at 26 weeks. We became a family of 5 in 24 hours! Our daughter spent 96 days in the NICU. After she was released in February 2023, I had a ruptured ectopic pregnancy followed by multiple kidney stones and other health issues.

In November 2023, I found a lump in my breast. Five days after moving into our newly built home after our family grew out of our old home and five days before Christmas, the results of my biopsy came back as having breast cancer. I'm pretty sure my family is ready for a break.
